Digital Activists For A New Economy is a new and exiting LAANE project and we want you to be part of it! Your participation is vital in the dissemination of LAANE's work over the web. DANE is a database of "online soldiers" that can be ready to move the work of LAANE and our campaigns to online communities.

OUR ASK

We need you to add your name and e-mail address to the DANE database and enlist in this economic justice digital army. Most of you are already part of an online community such as Facebook or Twitter, we need folks like you to put your social networking skills to LAANE's use.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ENLIST?

From time to time you will receive DANE "online action alerts" where we will ask you to post a link to your Facebook profile, go to Digg and vote for an article related to one of our campaigns, or to post a Tweet on LAANE's behalf.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

We understand that many of these new media tools are new and we want to make sure you know how to use them. Over the next few months the LAANE Communications Department will be conducting training sessions on how to be a great digital activist in our movement. But don’t let not knowing how to post a link on Facebook stop you from joining DANE! Join now!
